What is UniqueReviews?

UniqueReviews is a service that provides free reviews of unique products and services. Our aim is to publish relevant information to consumers so that they can make educated decisions about what they spend their time or money on. We also hope to introduce our visitors to less-common items and services that they didn't already know about. We focus our reviews on items that are not typically reviewed elsewhere.

What special training do you have to do reviews?

None, and we consider that to be an asset! Although a specialist in a particular field may be able to uncover specific details about a product's feature, We are just like any consumer that uses our site and we make our recommendations accordingly.

What do the 'overall rating' scores mean?

We rate each product/service with respect to a typical consumer's reasonable expectation of how that item will perform. A product or service that satisfies all reasonable expectations would get a score of 100. Please note that value is also a reasonable expectation and therefore the purchase price is also considered when providing overall ratings.

Why are product reviews so important?

Our economic system is primarily fuelled by purchasing decisions made by individual consumers. When individuals like a product and its price, they purchase it and the company is rewarded with profits. Subpar or expensive products are penalized in the same way. For this simple system to work effeciently, consumers have to be educated about the products and services they are purchasing. If they rely solely on often-skewed marketing info, the system fails to operate smoothly. Some companies with a lousy product can succeed with a good marketing ploy. Our aim is to arm ordinary consumers with the relavent information they need to make educated purchasing decisions.

What is your privacy policy?

We take our user's privacy very seriously. The only private information that we collect is our user's email address when they sign up for our free mailing list. These email address are only used for purposes of conducting the mailing list and will never be sold, rented or leased to anyone else. We use the mailings to notify our users whenever new reviews are posted.

Will you review my product or service?
